About the french riviera

The French Riviera refers to the area of the Alpes Maritimes and the Principality of Monaco. It is located in the extreme south-east of France extending westwards from the Italian border 120km to just beyond Cannes and 90kms northwards to the Southern Alps.

The French Riviera shelters the 2nd international airport in France, located in Nice that can be reached within an hour and a half from Paris.

With 300 days of sunshine a year, the French Riviera is a popular destination both from leisure and business tourism.
Between sea and mountains, the French Riviera is a land of contrasts where, from the sea, you can gaze on snow-capped peaks. From sunny beaches to hill-top villages and up to the stunning “Alpes d’Azur”, it offers a rich palette of scenery, leisure activities, cultural exhibitions as well as international events.
Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, Menton, St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Vence, St Paul…are deeply evocative name, each one synonymous with sunshine, good living and great cuisine !
