Eze, key of emotion
Along the medieval pretty cobbled streets and squares, discover the story or Eze village, and its legends. The baroque church Notre-Dame of the Assumption astonishes with its many illusions. Artists find inspiration in the old mansions and craftsmen are working olive wood, leather or silk. This is also an ideal place for shopping. From the gastronomical restaurant to the Provencal Inn, Eze is a gastronomic stop over.
Eze by the sea, with its beach shaded by a maritime pinewood shelter a lot of trails winding between “Belle époque” villas, bougainvilleas and wisterias. One of them connecting the seaside with the village, carries the name of the famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche who wrote one part of “thus spoke Zarathustra” while climbing it.
The upper Corniche is a virgin space between sea and mountain. From this Mediterranean brush overlooking the sea, you can contemplate the Snowies Mountains in winter, Corsica, Italy and St-Tropez.
